An international success for the National, this production of War Horse conquered the West End and Broadway and last toured to Melbourne in 2012. With the show is renowned for its ground-breaking puppetry work, bringing the animals to life on stage, young reporter Emily visited the theatre to meet Puppetry Director, Gareth Aled, and the Baby Joey puppeteer team, whilst getting hands on and learning some puppetry techniques. Cheryl Henson recently acquired Topthorn at auction from the National Theatre in London and donated it to the Center’s museum.
